After losing the first game of the Mills Cup, we won the next three games to win the Carolina League Championship.  Games 1 and 2 were great pitchers duels, after coming up short in Game 1 we were able to stage a 2 out rally in the 8th inning of game 2 and come away with a 3-2 win.  One interesting note about Game 2, the game didn’t start until 10 pm after a 3 hour rain delay.  The game ended around 12:45 am and then we immediately packed up the bus and headed to Kinston, NC where we arrived at about 8 am.  After a few hours of sleep we were back on the bus to head to the field to play Game 3 in Kinston.
